Not Your Ordinary Politician

A true leader means inspiration and vision.

Congressman Ferjenel Biron took on the bid for governorship of Iloilo province during the filing of CoCs on October 11, 2018. It was soon followed by a media conference held at courtyard of Marriott Hotel in Mandurriao. The event was attended by friends, supporters, as well as local media and bloggers.

What sets this conference apart from most traditional conventions was the invitation of "savvy netizen" blog writers comprised mostly of  techy youths from ages 20 and above. These people whom Biron termed "millenials" asked questions so simple in their import, even those things that the congressman and his family love doing on weekends.

"Ferj Biron took the battle to a higher level." A spectator said teary eyed. Indeed, politics will never be the same in the province of Iloilo. Both as a man backed by good credentials and unquestionable reputation, he challenged everyone to vote for the best and brightest.

"Nothing is impossible in our dream to win the bright future of Iloilo for everyone".

Biron was dubbed as a visionary politician - both a dreamer and doer of his visions. Hailing from poverty to a successful life as businessman, Ferj understands those who are struggling to attain their dreams.

"I was born poor, but it was my choice not to remain poor. It was my decision to transform my life."

With perseverance and determination he rose from the clutches of poverty and now has  become the source of courage and inspiration for those Ilonggos who want to better their lives.  After all, not only the Ilonggos look for politicians who could promise them a future with luster, but also a leader to inspire and build with them a brighter tomorrow for Iloilo.
